A Brief HIDI

A Brief HIDI ( How I Do It).
As I draw and take my time sketching the stuff hopefully getting as close to the finished idea as possible. I go from one idea to the next and while I am drawing I seem to get more ideas. The work is mostly done in one sitting, first on paper which is later scanned and redrawn using a Waycom Tablet .
This is what an original sketch may look like.

Sometimes I have rubbed out part of the original sketch and rescanned then added the changes directly and digitally. Which is easy as using an eraser and a pencil again.
Then using GIMP the layers are added and the sketch is traced out, filled and shaded before publishing.
Each print is still a long and involved process of do and redo and sometimes bin it. The ones I like may make it to poster form or at least cards which you can purchase from http://fineartamerica.com/art/all/wayne+hutchinson/all
And the final product is ready to print as a poster or other and I can move on to the next work of art.
